How can you help take care of our Community Asset?

There are many ways that you can get involved:-

•helping with painting & decorating

•organising a fund raising event

•bake a cake for an event

•help with a fundraising event

•taking rubbish to the County Waste Depot

•create some flower beds at the front of the building

•sponsor a particular project or part of a project

•make a donation towards a particular project

•volunteer to join the Management Committee

•support activities/ events in the Village Hall

•hire the village hall for a family party

We are a Registered Charity and any donations can be Gift Aided if you are a tax payer.

If you are a craftsperson, plasterer, builder, plumber, electrician, joiner or run your own business perhaps you could

•offer to provide ex-display units or fittings at cost – we need kitchen units, toilets, washbasins, taps etc.

•sponsor a particular project eg kitchen or disabled toilet refurbishment.

We are a registered charity and donations to us could be tax deductible.

All our regular funding comes from room hire charges, fund raising events and donations. We work with Dunston Parish Council in applying for Grants to part fund major projects but this is a lengthy process and there is considerable competition for the grant funds available.

If you would like to help with these improvements to your Village Hall please contact any Jean Ford on 01526 320810 or any member of the Village Hall Management Committee
