When to call 101?

To report less urgent crime or disorder and for general

police enquiries, such as if your car has been stolen,

your property has been damaged, when you suspect drug use

or dealing or to give the police information about crime in your area

Calls to 101 (from both landlines and mobile networks) cost

15 pence per call, no matter what time of day or how long

you are on the phone.

If you are deaf or hard of hearing you can text phone 18001 101.

When it is less urgent call 111

The 111 service in Lincolnshire is for you to access local health services when you need help fast but it is not a life-threatening situation or any other medical emergency.

You can ring 111 if you don't know who to call for medical help and/or it can't wait for an appointment with your GP. A team of highly trained advisers will assess your symptoms and guide you to the appropriate local service. If they think you need an ambulance, they will send one immediately - just as if you had originally dialed 999.

NHS Direct is still available: - 0845 4647 if you live outside Lincolnshire or you just need advice on a medical matter but not sure whether it requires treatment.
